Peachtree Corners, GA - Anne Prescott Sutlive, 86, of Peachtree Corners, GA, passed away July 8, 2013 after a long battle with vascular dementia. Ms. Sutlive was born in Savannah, Georgia on February 21, 1927 to William Duncan Prescott and Dorothy Ann Persse Prescott. She was a graduate of St. Vincent's Academy in Savannah and attended Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. She was the loving mother of six children. Later in life she helped build the Reliable Roofing Company where she worked for 18 years. Upon retirement, her focus was on her faith community and friends. Her deep, abiding Catholic faith drove her positive outlook on life and living. Her love for God and for people was evident to all who knew her. She was a member of Mary Our Queen Catholic Church.

Ms. Sutlive is predeceased by her first born son William Kirkland Sutlive, III and survived by her daughter Karen Sutlive Oliver and her husband John, Maureen Sutlive Taylor, John Gregory Sutlive and his wife Stephanie, Mary Ann Sutlive, and William Barry Sutlive and his wife Scarlett. All of her children live in the Atlanta area except Greg who resides in Savannah. Two sisters, Virginia Prescott Richter and Margaret Prescott Hughes, predeceased Anne, while Jean Prescott Johnson and William Duncan Prescott, Jr. survive and live in Savannah, Georgia and St. Simons, Georgia respectively. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral will be held Thursday, July 11th, at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home.

The family will also receive friends Friday, July 12th, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., following the Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m., at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel in Savannah. Burial will be Saturday, July 13th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Anne's grandsons John Christopher Taylor, John Groom Oliver III, William Barry Sutlive Jr, William Kirk Sutlive, Tucker Prescott Sutlive and Spencer Lloyd Sutlive.
